Mao'er Mountain Rafting
Maoer Mountain Scenic Area is located in Shangzhi City, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, China, 82 kilometers southwest of Harbin. The main peak of Maoer Mountain is 805 meters above sea level. It is named because of its crown-like appearance and is one of the strange peaks in Heilongjiang Province. The mountain shape and landform of Maoer Mountain are primitive and simple, composed of Jurassic intermediate-acid volcanic rocks. There is a "U"-shaped spring on the platform of about 200 square meters at the top of the peak. It is the highest natural mineral spring in Shangzhi City, Heilongjiang Province. The scenic area consists of Kaiyuan Temple, Yuanbaoshan Cemetery, Ski Training Base, Youth Quality Education Base, Maoer Mountain National Forest Park and other attractions.
Maoer Mountain is famous for its five major tourism brands: mountaineering and fitness, tourism and skiing, folk customs, agricultural sightseeing, and rafting. Among them, mountaineering and fitness are particularly popular among tourists.
