The scenic area covers an area of 54,000 mu, making it one of the most spectacular hu yang (poplar) forests in the world.

Scenic Area Features
Diverse Landscapes: The scenic area is divided into multiple attractions such as Taolailin at Yidaoqiao, Daoyinglin at Erdaoqiao, Hongliuhai at Sandaoqiao, and Yingxionglin at Sidaoqiao, each with its unique charm.

Taolailin at Yidaoqiao: Serving as the entrance to the scenic area, it is the starting point for appreciating the hu yang forest.

Daoyinglin at Erdaoqiao: It is the best place to capture reflections of the hu yang forest, with the water surface as smooth as a mirror, reflecting the beauty of the forest.

Hongliuhai at Sandaoqiao: Characterized by tamarisks, they intermingle with the hu yang forest to form a unique natural landscape.

Yingxionglin at Sidaoqiao: Famous for being a filming location for the movie "Hero", the hu yang trees here are tall and straight, exuding a majestic aura.
Rich History
The Ejin Banner hu yang forest boasts a long history and serves as a habitat for various animals and plants, including desert foxes, egrets, and grassland cats. The hu yang trees, with their extraordinary drought resistance, survive in extremely arid environments, demonstrating the miracle of life in nature.
Best Viewing Period
Time: The best viewing period for the Ejin Banner hu yang forest is from September 20th to October 25th each year. Starting around September 10th, the leaves of the hu yang forest gradually turn yellow, presenting a unique green-yellow scenery. By around September 20th, most of the leaves have turned yellow, marking the beginning of the viewing period. If the weather remains stable, the yellow leaves can last until around October 25th; if cold fronts are frequent, the leaves may fall earlier.
Activities: During the best viewing period, the scenic area hosts various cultural activities, such as the Ejin Banner Autumn Hu Yanglin Ecological and Cultural Tourism Festival, allowing tourists to experience rich cultural activities while enjoying the beautiful scenery.
